"So what's your story?"

In Literature we had read three different poems, although it talks about the same idea, love. This poems are "Song", "Passion" and " The Clod and the Pebble". Form this poems we have to creat our own poem following the subject of the one you choose. I choose "Song"

I heard too many stories
how have you found your true love?
Many ways, roads, endings
All differents.

I think, that's true love
Finding the one,
no matter how, no matter when
the smile, the look, the memories is above that.

It may not end as expected
But it was yours one time
so care about it when it's there.
You don't know what might happen.

"Just one look"

This few months in Literature Poetry we had read three poems. With this three poems of differents topics we had to create our own poem with the following rule: A poem which describes what you find when you are coming home. (As in "Coming home") A poem describing how your parents met and fell in love. (As in "Stabat Mater") A poem which describes someone you really like. (As in "She was a phantom of delight"). I choose A poem describing how your parents met and fell in love. Here is my work:

"Just one look"

A message of help
A brother in law in need.
A common office
A destiny that no one saw coming

My dad walks in.
A woman walks in.
A look and my dad felt
hundreds of feelings.
It was love at first sight.
But she was already taken.

With the work done.
My dad went home.
In his mind,
someone had taken the most important place.
She was the one.

Days passed and the woman was free,
no boyfriend, no other man.
First,
some chocolates.
Then,
lunch.
Later,
some nights out.
Love had knocked at their doors.

Wedding bells, a new house, crying babies,
trips, fights, diseases, laughs, memories.
The most important and wonderful years
of their life,
as they describe it.

Now,
twenty years later,
With just one look
both feel what my dad felt
the first time.
True love.
