  I have been asked by my friend Elizabeth Smith to recommend her for the vacancy for student services assistant at your college. My name is Sarah Croker, I am a kindergarten teacher and I have known Elizabeth for fifth-teen years. I first met her in school and since then we were inseparables.
  Shown by the fact that I have known Elizabeth for many years I can perfectly describe her. She has a talent for being polite to everyone, this is what I admire most of her. Also, she is respectful, hard-working and trustworthy in every aspect.
  Moreover, Elizabeth has excellent organization skills as regards deadlines and schedules. She is multi-tasker and can handle tension. Finally, she has the necessary computer skills and isn't afraid of learning new things.

    Throughout this lats four years we analyze in detail stories from the book "Stories of Ourselves", poems from "Songs of Ourselves" and the play "An Inspector Calls" written by J.B.Priestley.

   To conclude with this four years we have a special assigment. We had to work with three stories, three poems and the play and make a thesis statement about two themes of each text and supported with a quotation. Finally we had to ilustrate our ideas throught some pictures.

      Realicé junto con Carolina Pardo Laborde, Berenice Cohen, Nazarena Ballesteros y Milagros Turano una infografia con la herramienta Piktochart. En este trabajo incluimos información sobre el tabaquismo, entre ellos, ¿qué es?, ¿cómo afecta la salud?, la cronología luego de dejar el cigarrillo, entre otros. Aquí esta nuestro trabajo:

                                                       

Observando

     En el laboratorio hicimos distintos experimentos sobre el tema visto en clase, las propiedades de la sustancias. Junto con Berenice Cohen, Milagros Turano, Carolina Pardo Laborde y Nazarena Ballesteros, hicimos una presentación en la que explicamos lo realizado.

Concientisida

    

  Continuamos con la educación sexual. Este tema abarca todo en relación a esta. Incluye, también, las enfermedades de transmisión sexual. En este caso voy a hablar del sida.

 Tomé en cuenta la campaña de la foto a la derecha. Esta campaña es absolutamente magnífica. En simples frases y con la imagen personalizada lograron graficar e informar esta pandemia, es decir, que esta presente en todo el mundo.

La imagen personalizada, es un preservativo (uno de los métodos de protección y también contra esta enfermedad) con muchos símbolos que de alguna forma u otra tienen que ver con esta enfermedad. Los símbolos son:
* El mundo --> debido a que es una pandemia
* Corazones --> el acto sexual tiene que ver con el amor a nuestra pareja
*Los símbolos mujer y hombre --> estas están por "pareja" están dos símbolos ilustrando las parejas (dos mujeres, dos hombres y un hombre y una mujer). Esto se debe a que es una enfermedad de transmisión sexual que no solo se produce cuando se trata de una mujer y un hombre, sino que es algo que se puede transmitir de mujer a mujer o de hombre a hombre. Cualquier sexo puede tenerla.
*Símbolo de salud (cruz) --> hay que estar informados y cuidarnos. No solo el que posee la enfermedad, sino que la pareja. Se deben cuidar.
*Símbolo de sida
*Embarazada --> cuando alguien posee sida y esta embarazada hay que tener en cuenta todos los cuidados y tratamientos
*Instrumentos de laboratorio --> se esta buscando una vacuna para prevenir la infección y la transmisión de la madre al hijo durante el embarazo.

¿Por qué el título es "esta en nuestras manos"? Primero y principal esta en plural, ya que no es solo la persona que tiene sida se debe cuidar, sino su pareja también. Hay una serie de tratamientos y cuidados a tener en cuenta los cuales deben ponerlos a prueba los dos, tanto uno como el otro. Se deben cuidar, AMBOS. Luego, dice esta en nuestras manos porque la pareja debe estar informada acerca de la situación, por ejemplo, la persona que posee la enfermedad no debe ocultársela al otro. Esta en las manos de todos y es obligación concienciarse y estar informados, como también cuidarse.

Lo que nos diferencia

      Comenzamos a investigar y charlar acerca de la Educación Sexual Integral (E.S.I). Aprender acerca de esto es un derecho, y debido a nuestra edad pensamos que es el mejor momento para aprender todo lo relacionado a esta. En esta ocación junto a Berenice Cohen, hicimos un Thinglink del sistema reproductor masculino y el sistema reproductor femenino.

Powerdrato

    Investigamos acerca de los principales grupos de nutrientes que se encuentran en los alimentos; los hidratos de carbono, las proteínas y los lípidos. Junto con Martin Errarte, Santiago Darnes y Franco Fabrichini, realizamos una presentación con información acerca del grupo que nos toco, los hidratos de carbono. Utilizamos Emaze.
